BULUNGAN STILTS

Bulungan is a local word meaning whispering talk. This place is at Barangay La Huerta in Paranaque where the Bulungan happens. It is an old trading practice wherein a buyer whispers to the broker his price offer for a tub or bañera of fish.  It usually happens during wee hours of the morning where the fisherman’s catch are the freshest.
