Sunrise at Mangroves Sanctuary in Siquijor

It is already 2013; we survived the 365 roller coaster days of year 2012, including the so called doomsday of Mayan Calendar.

Travel and photography has been good to me the past year. I crossed out some of my travel destination in my bucket list and sold few photographs that helped me fund in upgrading my photography gears.

New Year celebration in Tondo

I am also happy that Dad was here to celebrate Christmas and New Year with us. It was one of the few occasions that we are complete because of his work as a seaman.  It sounds cheesy but I feel so blessed to have a wonderful family, who are always there to support and give unconditional love.

shipbuilding and ship repairs at Herma Shipyard

I don’t know if I can travel a lot this year (most probably the next 2 years) because of my day job. In case you didn’t know, I work as a Purchaser in a group of companies that specialized in maritime and environmental industry.  There will be a fleet expansion in one of our SBU’s and I will be part of the shipbuilding team.

2013 is like a new 365-page blank book. Let’s start in page 1 and write a good one. Happy New Year to all!
